New projects

I've gotten a bit ambitious with the CAL. Started the top on Friday and have managed to make a part a day.


And started the dress on Tuesday and am through part 3. Probably should've worked on it Monday rather than the baby blanket.


Speaking of which, I have about 20 rows left.


And here's Clyde looking cute in his tree while watching the rain hit the leaves of a bush.

Eclectic update and more stash

Another busy week coupled with the fact that I spent the majority of my free time over the weekend working on my dress caused me not to have that much done on insanity. I did however manage to finish my three pumpkins this week (and had a full ball left over) and also started the snowman tonight as my brain was too tired to deal with insanity. Although I haven't managed to work on certain projects as I would like, I got more stash. I had to go to joann's to pick up thread for my dress last week. While there, I have a tendency to rummange through the other departments to see if anything catches my eye. Although the cross-stitch section isn't all that great, I did find the following: Sebastian and Sebastian rose by Design Works. I was tempted by two other designs featuring a white cat and a leopard purse and one with a leopard shoe, but I prefered these for some reason, maybe Onyx had an influence. They came as a pack. Page 5 finished

I finished page 5 of The Arab Tent last night. Three more full pages and one page of 5 stitches to complete the first row. I don't have much more of an update this week.

Another blanket

 I started this a while ago. The Marcelle afghan. But I was running out of yarn on the final round. Put it away for a while. Then forgot where I put my pattern. Found it again. Frogged everything and redid it with a smaller hook. Also messed up on round 71 four times and didn't realize it until round 73... There were only 74 rounds. 2nd pic is it on my queen bed. Now to pick a new project...
