Sew Dance

I'm now officially on the 2nd half of this piece. Pg5 is complete except for one tiny section which requires Pg5A to be mostly complete so I don't mess up on stitch counts. At this point there are only 2 colors I still haven't used. I came up with an idea for a video, possibly a series. Focusing on how long cross-stitch and crochet takes. And pricing. I know for my cross-stitch, I'm going to use the following two, possibly more as illustrations. My question to the general population, is what price would you consider paying for these pieces?

I did a little more craft bouncing this week. I picked up something I hadn't worked on in years. A latch hook. A really big latch hook. As you can see, it takes up nearly the length of my bed. I also caved and went back to my cross-stitch for a bit and put about 10 more rows in on Black Stallion. As it still just looks like a purple rectangle, I didn't take a picture of it. Tuesday, I got a commission for a baby blanket. So I bought yarn and have been making lots of squares. At the time of this posting I have made 39/48. Of course, getting yarn meant I went to a craft store, which meant I came home with more than I should've. Although, I didn't come home with nearly as much as my list of possibilities due to lack of yarn in a color or two for the entire project. I did however, buy yarn to make placemats and several more ruffle yarn colors I hadn't seen before. And then there are the magazines/books I picked up. I passed by several new...

I have reached page 4 of Celestial Dragon. Tada! A better picture than the last few weeks. And this time you may actually see a hint of sparkle on the dragon. Hopefully won't be too long before this page is done and I can go on to complete the over 1 sections. But then comes the backstitching. That alone will take me over a week. Not to mention the beads. Last night my Mom wanted me to sew something so I pulled out all my patterns. As we were going through them, I found out a few things. I need a bigger box, or at least a secondary box. I have more patterns for woven fabrics than stretch fabrics despite it being the opposite for what's actually in my stash. I need a better organization. Although in light of that, I believe I have finally matched a pattern to a piece of fabric from my stash. It can take over even if I know I'm not going to execute it right away. First my progress on Grand Ball, then to explain the latest diversion my brain seems to be preoccupied with. Almost done with the first 25%. Tried to finish it today but couldn't. If I hadn't made a few scarves this week and been bothered by a cold, I probably would have done it. Also ended up cutting some fabric strips for my first quilt earlier. Anyway, recently I got a whole bunch of patterns. Of the costume patterns I picked up, one was based on 'Brave' and two were based on 'Once Upon A Time'. Now combine this with the fall season starting up, a show on Syfy I've been watching called 'Heroes of Cosplay', and the fact that I look bad in white, I ended up wanting to make one of the outfits the evil queen wears on the show.
