I finished page 5 of The Arab Tent last night. Three more full pages and one page of 5 stitches to complete the first row. I don't have much more of an update this week.

      I'm not sure. I know I'm going to finish half this page. The top half is interesting but the bottom half is a lot of brown. I can only take stitching that for so long before I have to put it away again.

DWTS Season 22: Week 3

Grab the tissues. Ginger. It was cute. A bit staccato. I'll give her the scores. Doug. Footwork was atrocious and overall jerky. Good partnering though. Too high. Kim. Not bad. Frame could be better but the foxtrot was just above walking through it. A little high for me. Von. Meh. Not very fluid, a bit dance by numbers. Too high. Marla. Hello Stamford DWM. Footwork was muddy. Kicks and flicks needed to be sharper. A little high but I'll give it to her. Antonio. He kept rushing a bit. Other parts were too sharp. I saw hopping. Overall it was inconsistent but nothing was excellent. Too high. Paige. I liked it. It did deviate from paso from it worked for her. I agree with the scores. Jodie. More ornaments

So finished up a few more ornaments this week. Switched to a bigger project since I'm off this week. Went to my rotation and got this one out. Fun fact, page 2 contains the halfway mark for the width. Haven't made it that far for a HAED before. And more stash. This came in three packages, all left from Chicago at the same time. One arrived last Thursday. One got diverted to Albany somehow and arrived Saturday. And the third took a detour through North Carolina. Given the state of the bag, it may have gotten caught on something else, thus the road trip. I have patterns picked out for some of these, others are still up in the air. Pattern suggestions welcome. The pink, red/black, and black/pink/gray have a metallic thread running through them.

Another change and lots of pictures

I'm giving up on insanity until I get a new piece of fabric. Luckily I found a piece of 18 ct large enough to fit it without having to splice two pieces. Since I have to get the fabric, I figured I'd look at the charts and kits on the site and I found this. It goes on my list of, I'm definitely buying this list along with the other there John Clayton dancer series I have yet to get. Cheaper to buy it directly from England myself. I'll probably buy these within the next month or so. Ordered the fabric today along with the following HEAD charts that were on clearance. This is the piece I'm working on now, 'Dew Drop Fairy'. It also fits with the blue theme. On the top is where I was when I picked it back up, bottom is where I am now. Mainly worked on the leaves above her head. I was going to work on TW's Romeo and Juliet, but the working copy of the page I was on was not with the rest of the kit. I have an inkling of where it is, but ...
