Another afghan

So, I finished the Annie's Lace throw tonight. Tada!


And as my hands/wrists were starting to bother me, I switched crafts. Say hello to my new knitting project. Starting out with DPNs and using a cable needle... Still not enough stitches to transfer to my circulars...


Anyway, thought this was cool while working on the throw. I know it was standing up, but I got pretty close to the end before the tunnel collapsed.



And here are the other two kits from HAED. Soul Mate (aka Clyde) and It's Only Forever SSMC (aka Labyrinth). I love the little bag on the left and the green threader is my favorite of the three.


Still haven't located my K hook....

A bit of ADD

I seem to be a bit all over the place this week. Let me walk you through it. Sunday, I have declared this day to be for 'insanity'. I shall try and keep this up. So Monday, I picked up a new cross-stitch, Mystical Wizard. More on that later but here are the colors. Wednesday, I decided to work on one of my sewing projects. A 17.5" stuffed Christmas tree. I was going to make the 12" one but I had enough fabric if I ignored the included cutting diagram and got away with 1/8" less. But come Thursday, I was tired of my cross stitch. There's only so much I could take of stitching blue on blue, and mainly two colors of blue. Of course the upper left is the least interesting part color-wise of this piece. So I switched to The Accolade. I'll include the last photo I took of it (with my old phone) because I didn't get that many rows finished. DWTS season 19: week 7

Tommy. It was muddy and he seemed to forget some of it. As usual. I notice they didn't mention the break in hold during the dance. Too high. Lea. It felt careful. It could've used more power, controlled power. It felt like she was walking through it. Not worth 9s. Bethany. I liked it and her dress. I think she missed a step during a side by side but got caught up. There were moments she could've filled instead of just pausing. I don't know if it was 10s definitely 9s. Antonio. Not a lot of actual Viennese Waltz. He didn't do much. I agree with the scores. Michael. Just, no. 5s are generous. Janel. A tad slow for a Viennese Waltz. But it was interesting. A little low. Alfonso. She danced around him a lot. I didn't see too much hip action. Technique needs work. I'll give him the scores based on performance. Sadie. The character didn't work with the dance.
