Sew Dance

The unicorn is finished. The backstitching makes a world of difference. So onto the next piece. Christmas Tree V with lots of expensive threads. Also, Annie's had a sale. I keep meaning to get into quilting and buy things, but nothing's been made so far. And the downloaded patterns. But I was good and didn't purchase anything on 'I love yarn day'. But while putting things away in my closet... I think I need another overhaul. I did get rid of several bags from the middle by putting those sewing patterns in a box. Which reminds me, I need a better way to organize those patterns. And here's Onyx looking cute. And the turkeys showed up again. There are 6 of them.

Almost there. And I was so good, not buying things. Herrschners had a sale on a pattern that had been on my wishlist. I withheld until Friday when I got a email with an extra discount, spend $80, get 25% off. Which gives me 35% off the already reduced prices from the current sales (most 40-50%). My reasoning was the owls and the framed pieces are quick stitches I can probably make up the purchase price rather quickly like I did with my prior ornaments. The kittens are by the same designer who did my peacocks, Luca-S. There were a few others on my wishlist, but I've seen them priced better than what they are now.

...has appeared. Haha. If you thought the title was referring to my craft closet (of doom), you get a point. Only because I need to fix that again. I held off buying anything this week again, although I was tempted. Also tried to sell some crochet at ta tag sale. Wrong crowd. No sales, handed out cards, and got a sunburn on my left arm (forgot sunscreen). I did get some free yarn though. DMC #10, Red Heart TLC, and some fuzzy yarn I've never heard of. All of which is currently hiding in a closet.

I think it's a little more recognizable as to what it's going to be. This post is going to be short as I managed to refrain myself from buying stash this week. Despite Herrschner's sale.

My latest. Although I think I need to get a full time job just to not have time to look at sales on Herrschners. The hummingbird, cat latch hook, witches' hats and the owl wreath are now sold out and I knew I got the last one of the doorknob hat. The slightly fuzzy picture is 'Train of dreams'. Most of these were heavily discounted.
