Sew Dance

Page finish. I am done with the brown tree (for now). Last 4 rows were annoying because my bulb died and my back up was a dark yellow. This photo was taken under it's light. I also started trying to knit a hat. I've already started over once. First time through I kept doing 2 knits or purls in a row. Then I realized I was wrapping my yarn wrong for the knit stitch. Hopefully I've corrected that. My ebay haul. Still waiting on 2 patterns and I also ordered some sewing patterns. And here's Clyde enjoying a box today.

82 rows complete. At this pace, I should be done with the page by next week. Yay! No more brown tree for a while Now to play find the cat. I bought more things off of ebay that should be delivered this week. Pictures will be for next week.

Over 20 rows done this week. It's looking more tree-like, but I still see that face in the leaves. Odd discovery, an egg has a double yolk. And a cat tax.

Didn't stitch quite as much as I would've liked. But I still managed to get almost 20 rows done since my last post. Is it just me, or does it look like there's a face in the middle of the tree... And a photo of Clyde because this post was looking too short.

Why am I stitching another tree? I also had to take the photo this close so my camera didn't just make it a dark brown blob. And the Yankee home opener kind of messed up my posting plans. The delay to Tuesday because of snow, plus the fact that I slept really late on Wednesday, meant I forgot to write this earlier. Thankfully I was dry. Next game will probably be when it's a lot warmer.

I finished the Northern Lights Afghan. It was one of the first Herrschners kits I had bought. So I have moved on to the next cross-stitch in my rotation, Cinderella and the Prince. Apparently I didn't get very far when I first started it. I will be converting this to parking, which is a tiny bit of an annoyance. Also, those two 4 point symbols being next to each other will make things a bit tricky. I already realized I had used the wrong color for five stitches.
