La Challigraphe The chart was stitched on "natural" linen. But it looks kind of blue. I paired it with Mystical Seas and rather like the combination.

Sleeping Dragon was originally done on 'dirty linen'. I could always buy a piece like that but let's see what's in my stash. Any one of these are 'cave like' to me. I would stitch over 2 as they are very high counts.

Mystical Journey is an odd one. Is it in the sky? On the ground? A ledge in the middle of nowhere? Tried out some bold blue/greens. Neither seems right. Try a purple as they're now free from the planet dragons? Not quite. This one is better. Confetti Opalescent? Nope. Don't like this piece enough to use a sparkly on it. Blueberry Delight is a possibility. Although Blue Mystery is the front runner so far.

So, sparkly fabric it is for these. However, I need more pieces. I can get two on crystal dawn, and maybe 2 on the others with the right dimensions. However that would be a cutting it tight with the margins. My opalescents are all 32 ct. Pluto is the smallest at 11.5 x 19 including 2" margins. The largest is Sun at 16 x 17.5. Most are closer to 19" tall. Then I started thinking, do they make a black opalescent? I found one called Onyx from a company called ColourAndCotton.com . Possibility. Final decisions pending other pieces I acquire. I did recently purchase some more sparkly blue fabric.

Day 23: Princess and the Dragon

Not really a planet, but still in the solar system. My two ever present sparklies.

By the time I got to Venus, I was convinced I wanted them on opalescent fabric. Probably not on this one.
