My projects for the 3rd week of Stitch Maynia.

Day 17: Whoo... Whoo... It's Winter
The thread was nicely sorted, but it was held together at the ends by a piece of tape (yuck).


Day 18: Mythical Mansion SAL
The frog visited me a lot during this one.


Day 19: Royal Games II

Day 20: Wagon Buddies Pillow


Day 21: Bluebeard's Princess

Day 22: Birds of Paradise
Not sure I have enough of the first color, the 3rd 'hank' is half the length of everything else.

    Great work on week 3. Who puts tape on stitching threads? Not good.

A bit of ADD

I seem to be a bit all over the place this week. Let me walk you through it. Sunday, I have declared this day to be for 'insanity'. I shall try and keep this up. So Monday, I picked up a new cross-stitch, Mystical Wizard. More on that later but here are the colors. Wednesday, I decided to work on one of my sewing projects. A 17.5" stuffed Christmas tree. I was going to make the 12" one but I had enough fabric if I ignored the included cutting diagram and got away with 1/8" less. But come Thursday, I was tired of my cross stitch. There's only so much I could take of stitching blue on blue, and mainly two colors of blue. Of course the upper left is the least interesting part color-wise of this piece. So I switched to The Accolade. I'll include the last photo I took of it (with my old phone) because I didn't get that many rows finished. DWTS season 19: week 7

Tommy. It was muddy and he seemed to forget some of it. As usual. I notice they didn't mention the break in hold during the dance. Too high. Lea. It felt careful. It could've used more power, controlled power. It felt like she was walking through it. Not worth 9s. Bethany. I liked it and her dress. I think she missed a step during a side by side but got caught up. There were moments she could've filled instead of just pausing. I don't know if it was 10s definitely 9s. Antonio. Not a lot of actual Viennese Waltz. He didn't do much. I agree with the scores. Michael. Just, no. 5s are generous. Janel. A tad slow for a Viennese Waltz. But it was interesting. A little low. Alfonso. She danced around him a lot. I didn't see too much hip action. Technique needs work. I'll give him the scores based on performance. Sadie. The character didn't work with the dance.
