More organizing

Image
Finished the top row of pages on Triptych. A close up of the panel I worked on. And I did some re-organizing of my cross stitch stash. This is what I started with. The last two pictures are still the same, but I did decrease that pile of papers by half (tackling my crochet/knit patterns are next). But this is what I ended up with. All my (printed) patterns in one drawer. It weighs about 40 pounds. My HAED's are in alphabetical order, followed by all the patterns with no background so I can match them up with the pretty fabrics I have. Then GK, and the rest are sorted by subject. All my kits that have not been started but have working copies of the chart (or crewel/needlepoint) These two drawers are started projects. I still have some organizing to do to get rid of the plastic bags. I am having trouble finding one project bag. It was sitting near my computer for the longest time. I hope it just got mixed in with some of the stuff I se...

A finish, some organizing, and more stash

Finished another ornament. And picked Fantasy Triptych back up. Also did some organizing. All the projects I had kitted up myself were in plastic bags. Transferred them to expanding folders. Next Amazon order I'll get another set of these and one of a slightly bigger expansion for a few (including Insanity) A little bummed two dragons I ordered came broken. The one on the left is getting replaced, but the one on the right was the last one... Hello from Clyde. And I couldn't resist the HAED sale... Other stash is on it's way... Currently searching for the piece of paper with my fabric layout...

Page finish

Quick little post to show my page finish. Still nothing really to show on this piece other than a really nice gradient. Back to some ornaments.

More ornaments

So finished up a few more ornaments this week. Switched to a bigger project since I'm off this week. Went to my rotation and got this one out. Fun fact, page 2 contains the halfway mark for the width. Haven't made it that far for a HAED before. And more stash. This came in three packages, all left from Chicago at the same time. One arrived last Thursday. One got diverted to Albany somehow and arrived Saturday. And the third took a detour through North Carolina. Given the state of the bag, it may have gotten caught on something else, thus the road trip. I have patterns picked out for some of these, others are still up in the air. Pattern suggestions welcome. The pink, red/black, and black/pink/gray have a metallic thread running through them.
