I've spent several days sorting, photographing, and trying to pair my hand dyed fabrics with my no background patterns. Pairings subject to change, but this is what I got for most of the physical patterns.
I'm undecided on these:
Also decided on the fabrics for my planet dragons (plus sun & moon)
I'll make another post (or several) for the other ones I'm still deciding on. In the meantime, I'm going to clean up my floor...
Season 20 is almost upon us and the cast has been revealed! Patti LaBelle with Artem. I want to see her do well, but it's been proven that singing ability doesn't always translate to dancing ability with older people. Riker Lynch with Allison. He was on "Glee" therefore he can perform choreography. Whether he can pick up the proper technique is another issue. Charlotte McKinney with Keo. Models tend to be gone pretty quickly due to lack of fan base. Paired with Keo who was out week 1 last season (despite staying around for troupe numbers) and I don't know if that's going to change. Michael Sam with Peta. Football players are usually good with dancing ability. Willow Shields with Mark. An actress, could go either way. Rumer Willis with Val. Official press has her as an actress/singer but other sources say she has some dance performances under her belt. I think she'll go far. Noah Galloway with Sharna. A former soldier and double amputee, left ...
Happy Halloween! That was a fun opening. Kel. Not a lot of jive and the bit I did see wasn't that good. He kept his legs too far apart during the chasses and kind of just jumped. It was fun to watch but for the dance he was supposed to do, not the greatest. Too high. James. Two odd transitions, but I loved it. I agree with the scores. Ally. It didn't draw me in. Maybe it was the music. I don't know. Maybe not 9s. but better then Kel. Hannah. Felt like a dance by numbers. Too high. Karamo. Felt frantic especially at the beginning. His hips were too far back. Too high. Lauren. Not bad. The pauses seemed to drop the energy. Tad high. Sean. He looked like he pranced through the jive. Frankenstein was an appropriate character. Too high. Kate. Props for an actual rumba, but no hips. I'll give her the scores, but maybe worth 7s. Team dance round! Team trick. Spooky, interesting choreography, lighting a little dark. I agree with the sco...
I hit 50k today. So hip hip hooray for me. I should probably go back and edit some of my earlier ones and see if I can get published. Onto crafting! Almost finished this ornament. Just have a few stitches and then the beading Also scrapped the turkey afghan as I wasn't going to get it done before Thanksgiving and went onto one a bit more wintery. One or two more pieces to actually create then everything gets sewn together. And I bought some more stash. Although compared to last year, I was really, really good. I stuck to the clearance page at abcstitch. And I ordered threads for my Ink Circles design from 123stitch and this chart.
You have been busy! It's so much fun playing with the Viewer and the actual fabrics too.
