Not quite the same ring as to the bat cave but...


All full and half cross stitches are complete. The 'grass' is going to be complicated as I'm doing black over black and the lines cross each other a lot. No TV for that part I guess.

DWTS Season 22: Week 3

Grab the tissues. Ginger. It was cute. A bit staccato. I'll give her the scores. Doug. Footwork was atrocious and overall jerky. Good partnering though. Too high. Kim. Not bad. Frame could be better but the foxtrot was just above walking through it. A little high for me. Von. Meh. Not very fluid, a bit dance by numbers. Too high. Marla. Hello Stamford DWM. Footwork was muddy. Kicks and flicks needed to be sharper. A little high but I'll give it to her. Antonio. He kept rushing a bit. Other parts were too sharp. I saw hopping. Another change and lots of pictures

I'm giving up on insanity until I get a new piece of fabric. Luckily I found a piece of 18 ct large enough to fit it without having to splice two pieces. Since I have to get the fabric, I figured I'd look at the charts and kits on the site and I found this. It goes on my list of, I'm definitely buying this list along with the other there John Clayton dancer series I have yet to get. Cheaper to buy it directly from England myself. I'll probably buy these within the next month or so. Ordered the fabric today along with the following HEAD charts that were on clearance. This is the piece I'm working on now, 'Dew Drop Fairy'. It also fits with the blue theme. On the top is where I was when I picked it back up, bottom is where I am now. Mainly worked on the leaves above her head. I was going to work on TW's Romeo and Juliet, but the working copy of the page I was on was not with the rest of the kit. I have an inkling of where it is, but ...

I got back to my cross-stitch

Well, I finally got back to my cross-stitching. After selling my scarves at my mom's work, and finishing up some special orders (I still have a few that I need to start), I decided to take the past two days to work on my leopard shoe kitty. I got pretty far on her. I had finished this guy up on Thursday. Isn't he cute? Also put my tree up today.   I haven't danced since the competition but I do have some leeway and have scheduled another lesson this week. By my next blog update, I hope to have more items in my etsy shop. I just haven't taken the time to photograph most of the other scarves I've made.
