DWTS season 21: inital cast opinions
It's that time of year again. The cast of Dancing with the Stars, season 21 have been announced today. Time for pre-dance predictions.
Tamar Braxton w/ Val: Toni Braxton's younger sister and current The Real host. Toni was on a while ago and did fairly well. I believe Tamar can do equally well and make it into the latter stages of the competition.
Gary Busey w/ Anna: Anna's back, yay! But unless he's going to surprise me, I don't think Gary's going to stick around very long.
Nick Carter w/ Sharna: Be still my teen heart. My favorite member of my preferred 90's boyband is finally doing the show. I attended a show when his brother was on, maybe I can swing a trip to L.A. this season. Probably not. But as much as I love Nick, I will admit he wasn't the best dancer of the group. Let's hope Sharna can whip him into a ballroom dancer.
Paula Deen w/ Louis: Another pro returns to the floor. But he's going to have his hands full. And even if she's good, methinks she may have lost some votes with her recent controversy.
Victor Espinoza w/ Karina: American Pharoah's jockey. Height-wise this should be an interesting pairing. Dance-wise I don't know what to expect.
Andy Grammar w/ Allison: A guest performer last season with that earworm of a song "Honey, I'm good." now a performer. I think he'll have rhythm, but that's not always the case with non-dancing singers as shown in a recent season.
Hayes Grier w/ Emma: I have no idea who this kid is. But Bethany was in a similar 'niche' and did decently in terms of placing.
Bindi Irwin w/ Derek: She's with Derek, most likely she's going to be a good dancer.
Chaka Kahn w/ Keo: Let's hope she has it enough to keep Keo around for a few weeks longer than usual.
Alexa Penavega w/ Mark: No clue, I don't watch the Spykids movies. But was on Broadway in Hairspray as Penny (Amanda Bynes in the movie)
Carlos Penavega w/ Witney: Alexa's husband and part of "Big Time Rush" on Nickelodeon. No clue where he's going to land dancing wise.
Alek Skarlatos w/ Lindsay: Army National Guard Specialist who recently was honored for his part in averting a massacre on a Belgian train. Probably not going to have the same emotional impact on people as Noah and will go home early if he can't dance.
Kin Zolciak Biermann w/ Tony: Another Atlanta Housewife. Poor Tony. That seems to be my opinion every season. "Poor Tony"
I find it interesting that they have two people who's sibling was on a prior season and a married couple competing.
