More colors!

I have color other than gray and yellow! I don't think I'd ever be happy to stitch green. Oddly, I think Insanity it next up in my rotation.


Here's some stash I got, still more on it's way, the holiday delayed some packages.



And I went to the Yankee game on Memorial Day. They lost, but I don't think this photo is so bad. I did get a tad burnt though.

Random number generator didn't like me

I decided to go back to a random number generator to pick my next cross-stitch project (with the help of my WIP/UFO list .) So I put my latch hook away... And it picked out White Tigers. Which I only worked on for two days due to the monochrome and the hard to read chart. So I rolled again and Beauty of the Deep. Didn't feel like doing stamped and searching for my hoop. So I rolled again and got Peacock Majesty. Which I knew I had to start off by frogging (which is why it's been put away for over a decade) So I rolled again and it gave me Dance me Out. Which turns out I had never started, which is fine, except I didn't have a working copy of the chart and I don't have a copier/printer. (I use my parents). So I rolled again and it gave me Winter Friends (actually called Snowman & Reindeer). DWTS season 19 cast

Well, the cast for the upcoming season has finally been (officially) announced. Here are my pre-season opinions on the cast and their partners. Antonio Sabato Jr , 42,  General Hospital  (partnered with Cheryl Burke) The 'hot' guy of the season. He'll stick around for a bit just because the ladies want to see him with his shirt off. If he can actually dance, he'll make it far. Alfonso Ribeiro , 42,  Fresh Prince of Bel-Air  (partnered with Witney Carson) Carlton! He has rhythm, I think, and I'm pretty sure that famous dance of his will make an appearance at some point during the show. Hopefully he's a better dancer than his character was. Pretty sure this will be a fun partnership. Bethany Mota , 18, YouTube sensation (partnered with Derek Hough) I think I've seen her in the recent youtube commercials. SFS2015 - August

Month: August Spent: 27.31 Earned: 66 And I've made up for my huge deficit last month. Almost everything I bought from the Christmas in July sale is finished. And as I was very good but between catching up and Herrschners having a 20% off code (plus 10% from joining their savings club recently), I treated myself to some downloadable patterns.  The last two have fabric requirements for cross stitch or needlepoint. One thing that I seemed to have mentioned on my blog at all are my two afghan orders from Herrschners. The last is in the mail as I write this post, thus the download only splurge. The sports pillows and the cat are no longer available on their website. And two are knit. I figure it's a good way to force myself to actually learn. I bought a set of needles a while ago. They're still in the box.
